Aesthetics Medical Director Full or Part-time

The Medical Director is overseeing, developing, executing, and managing the clinical activities that include clinical research, patient evaluation/treatment, medical records, SkinCare Center operations, and supervision of staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing and directing various clinical research study projects related to our skincare products and medical devices. Ensuring the protection and care of patients as research subjects on our studies and seen at our SkinCare Center.
• Overseeing and managing the activities of ABM’s Skin CareCenter located at Headquarters and advising at other ABM SkinCare Centers.
• Responding to clinical questions that arise from the use of our products in the field.
• Participating in the oversight of the quality assurance and quality improvement programs related to our clinical activities.
• Ensuring that ABM is compliant with regulations and certifications relating to: Institutional Review Board, FDA, HIPPA, OSHA, CLIA, ISO, device use and training.
• Overseeing medical record maintenance to ensure the Organization and our Programs meet all local and federal regulations and are HIPPA compliant. Ensure that ABM maintains appropriate electronic and paper records.
• Staff education as well as participation in the development of training programs related to the products being sold by ABM and within our Skin Care Centers.
• Developing a clinical budget, financial reporting, and supervising billing and collection functions related to clinical programs and the Skin Care Center that reflects a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
• As a member of the management team provide reports at Executive Committee meeting, board meetings and participate in policy development and strategic planning.
• Working with the Clinical Advisory Board and Knowledge, Opinion, Innovation Network activities as it relates to ABM clinical activities.

Qualifications:

• A licensed physician in the State of Arizona. Board certifications in dermatology and/or medical aesthetics preferred.
• Strong data analysis skills that include the use of measurement tools for quality, efficiency/cost and utilization are critical.
• Having the capability to collect, perform, interpret, and apply clinical data is imperative.
• Capital financing and budget experience is also valued, as is the ability to keep focused on ROI, a critical component of ABM operations.
