ImpactBio has partnered with LiDCO to support them with their staffing needs as they continue to expand. This is a Direct Hire full-time position. The Clinical Specialist is responsible for providing clinical expertise, in-servicing, education and driving opportunities with the LiDCO hemodynamic monitoring product portfolio.

This role will focus on influencing clinical practice and operational efficiencies based on evidence-based best practice related to the hemodynamic monitoring of critical care, surgical oncology and general surgery patients. This role will develop relationships, lead clinical training, as well as work closely with sales to develop and implement educational events for customers with the goal of sharing best practices and the safe adoption and use of LiDCO products.

The Clinical Specialist is an integrated member of the US field team and will insure alignment of clinical education activities with strategic business priorities to develop, sustain & grow the business for the long-term.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build & maintain relationships with key clinical customers across LiDCO portfolio providing clinical expertise
  • Assist customers to incorporate evidence based standards & guidelines into clinical practice with a goal to improve clinical outcomes
  • Present LiDCO product offerings to potential customers aligned to established sales opportunities in alignment with sales execution and strategic focus
  • Conduct clinical needs assessments, implement and evaluate product conversions and support follow up activities of in-servicing & troubleshooting
  • Identify & communicate customer insights toward the development of marketing programs, tools and strategic plans

 

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse, RN, ICU Nurse, CCU Nurse, Respiratory Therapist, Physician Assistant, PA, Nurse Practitioner, NP, OR Nurse
  • Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree in Bio Science preferred
  • An in-depth knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and hands on experience managing critically ill patients receiving drug and fluid therapy
  • Experience within critical care and OR environment
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and to work independently
  • Self- motivated
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to identify key influencers
  • Using evidence and best practices to influence and drive clinical outcomes
  • Innovative and solutions oriented
  • Computer literacy & expertise in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PPt)
  • Valid full driver’s license & safe driving record
  • Travel 70 - 80%
